2010/04/06 - President to BMM Members

Namaskar,

In my previous e-mail, I talked about BMM membership benefits and process of registration with the respective state. I have attached a spreadsheet that gives information about Mandal Presidents, BMM Representatives and corresponding vote count. These are the points to keep in mind:

1. Vote count is dependent on the number of membership families in your Mandal:
             Membership Families          Vote Count
                1 - 100                               1
                101- 250                             2
                251 and up                          3
Please check your Mandal's vote count and let me know if it needs to be corrected

2. Vote count is blank for the Mandals who did not pay 2010 membership yet. In order to participate in 2011 BMM elections, it is important that we receive your membership for this year and by Feb end for 2011. Also we strongly recommend that you register your Mandal with your State.

3. BMM Representative is a very important position. Not only they serve as liaisons between the Mandals and BMM, they may be eligible to run for BMM positions in 2011 elections. It is definitely an honor for the Mandal when their Representative is elected on BMM committee. I urge you all to check and appoint eligible members for BMM representative's position. Many of the Mandals have not appointed anyone at all. Please give it a thought. The criteria is, the person you choose must have served at least for one year on your committee in official capacity.

4. The BMM Representatives marked in red are currently serving on BMM committee. We will be getting all Representatives involved more in BMM activities.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,
Madhuri Joshi
President, BMM
